For more than 30 years, the Dermot Crowley Group has been supplying coatings and chemicals to commercial users in Munster. Based in South Link Park, Ballycurreen, Cork, we have a team of expert staff and trained representatives who are able to visit clients, discuss new products and train others in application techniques.

At Dermot Crowley Coatings we believe that industrial and automotive paint users need the peace of mind that a technical specialist can give them over a standard 'paint stockists'. Our mission statement is to be the most capable paint partner in Ireland and to continually prove to our customer base that our service levels are second to none.

Crowley Group history

In 1978 Dermot Crowley was managing John Wilson's, a well-known motor factors in Cork, when he decided to strike out on his own and set up an independent firm. Dermot Crowley identified a gap in the market for a body shop and automotive paint supplier to serve Cork and Munster. This was the start of Dermot Crowley Coatings delivering body-shop and automotive paint supplies to a receptive market. Over the years, this branch of the Group grew, and Dermot Crowley's became known as the go-to specialist and the biggest coatings supplier in the Munster region.

Crowley Chemicals has been a more recent development. This branch was established to provide clients with a reliable source of valeting equipment and chemicals. It fast became Munster's biggest supplier of chemicals and cleaning equipment.

Today the Crowley Group employs 15 members of staff across its Coatings and Chemicals services in Cork, Munster. Both companies depend on the expertise and knowledge of this team of loyal staff, many of whom have been with the Group for 15 years or more.
